“ One of the most outstanding lamb chops I’ve ever had — so juicy and tender! The Ayam Penyet was equally amazing — the chicken was incredibly juicy and tender. It was my first time enjoying such a delicious and juicy lamb chop at a Muslim restaurant, and I seriously have no regrets. The service was superb and impressively fast. Highly recommended! ”
“ Nasi Ayam Penyet--a little bit of chicken near the bones is red & has a bit of blood, maybe about 99% cooked. It's edible but not very nice to look at. The chicken flesh is white, so it means it's cooked but not 100%. Drink & food service is quite fast upon ordering. It's just that no staff welcomed & ushered me to my seat. I guess it's a free-seating café. Very chill by the roadside kinda coffee-shop style. Since it was my 1st time there, I had to walk up to the back where the main counter was & asked a male staff if I could sit freely. The smashed chicken rice (nasi ayam penyet) was nice. The chicken had fried bits of spices on top of it, which made it look very appetising. The soup was nice, that I asked for extra but was not informed that I'd be charged RM0.70 plus 6% SST (goods & services tax) for a small bowl. It'd be nice if the staff were to inform patrons that the soup (as well as an extra serving of spicy sambal sauce) is chargeable, then we are prepared for it. It's no big deal as it's a small amount but informing customers in advance is good practice. The drinks are okay, the hot chocolate was nice, chocolatey enough. The iced honey lime has a lot of honey in it which balances the sour lime. All in all, I'd rate 4.5/5. ”
